Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Massachusetts is seeking a Bakery Team Member to support production, display, and quality in the bakery department. You will proof and bake unfinished bakery goods, follow safety and storage guidelines, and help ensure accurate labeling and pricing while delivering friendly service to members.

Ideal candidates have bakery or customer service experience, are at least 18 years old, and value teamwork, safety, and quality control in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following product handling information using ovens and other equipment.
• Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts based on production charts.
• Maintains cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department.
• Gathers products for the next business day and ensures items are fresh and properly labeled.
• Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and product handling policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
