Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a friendly Bakery Associate to help proof and bake unfinished bakery goods, display items from the freezer, and maintain cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced store environment.

You’ll assist customers, answer questions, restock and price items, and support club standards while delivering service excellence. Must be 18 years or older; bakery or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods using ovens and other equipment.
• Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts based on production charts.
• Packages freshly baked goods and displays them; rotates and stores bakery products following safety policies.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments; ensures products are fresh and properly priced.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, displays, and surfaces in the bakery area.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular, predictable attendance.
