Job summary

Stewarts Marketplace in Castle Dale, Utah is seeking a Bakery team member to support bakery department operations, bake a variety of goods, and assist customers while maintaining a clean workspace. You will monitor ovens, label and price products, help customers, take orders, and follow strict food safety guidelines to ensure high-quality standards.

Experience in bakery or food prep is preferred; you must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds, with a food handler permit

Qualifications

• Previous bakery or food preparation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake various baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
• Monitor ovens and baking equipment for proper temperatures and times, decorate cakes and pastries to standards.
• Greet and assist customers with inquiries and purchases, take orders in person and over the phone.
• Follow all safe food handling, personal hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and assist with labeling and pricing.
