Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dedicated Team Member to support the Bakery and overall sales floor. You will assist with receiving, stocking, and displaying products while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers and Team Members.

The role involves facing products, adhering to safety standards, and contributing to a positive store image. Responsibilities include shelf maintenance, inventory checks, and assisting with sampling programs.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to learn product knowledge and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keeps cases and shelves clean, front-facing items, checks codes, rotates stock, and removes out-of-date products.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and leads.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps sample areas clean.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures correct signage and pricing.
• Provides excellent customer service, answers phones promptly, and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Reports safety hazards and follows health and sanitation procedures.
