Job summary

Stauffers of Kissel Hill in Lititz is hiring a part-time Bakery Team Member. You will take and process customer orders, assist the Bakery Manager with production planning, and help develop new product ideas. Shift hours are 3am–1pm, with day and weekend availability.

• Able to lift 25-50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Takes and processes customer orders; ensures product is ready on time.
• Assists Bakery Manager with variety and quantity of bakery products to be produced or replenished, per orders and projections.
• Assists with development and implementation of new product ideas.
• Aware of miss-picked merchandise and how to correct it.
• Has knowledge of bakery equipment and procedures to ensure quality.
• Merchandises entrance case with stock levels based on day, season, and events.
• Prepares frozen products for proper baking.
• Produces a variety of bakery products ensuring proper production and quality.
• Cleans department area, equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, displays.
• Operates equipment as needed.
• Operates price scale and updates price tags in coordination with scan department.
• Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons; checks invoice; clears floor of restocking debris.
• Sets and signs displays to attract customers and promote sales.
• Takes inventory to identify items needing replenishment.
