Job summary

Stauffers of Kissel Hill is seeking a full-time Team Member in Lititz, PA to join our Lititz Pike Fresh Foods location. The role requires flexible day, evening and weekend availability and offers a pathway to leadership through on-the-job training and leadership classes.

Responsibilities include merchandising planning with the Buying team, pricing coordination, and supervising team members. The position offers weekly pay, employee benefits, and potential career growth within a family-owned

Qualifications

• Previous managerial/bakery experience is required.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, proportions, percentages and volume.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently up to 50 pounds.
• Must have good hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Exposure to hot temperatures around kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Devise merchandising plans and plan-o-grams with the Buying team.
• Understand retail label systems and coordinate with Scan, GM, and Buying teams for correct pricing.
• Assign duties, schedule breaks, work hours and vacations based on business needs and store events.
• Train team members in store policies, procedures, product knowledge and duties to ensure safe, productive work.
• Supervise and perform departmental inventories for accuracy.
• Be prepared to assume Department Manager responsibilities when needed.
• Communicate merchandising and pricing directions with Buying and GM teams; implement promptly.
• Coordinate vendor invoices, SKH invoices, and inter-company transfers daily for timely billing.
• Operate as a working manager to ensure smooth division operation.
• Know current inventories and ordering systems to assist with supplies and merchandise.
• Maintain and operate departmental equipment.
