Job summary

Food City in New Canton, Tennessee is seeking energetic Food Service Associates for entry-level roles supporting our store mission to Run the Best Store in Town. You will greet customers, prepare quality bakery items, and help with stocking, rotation, and cleanliness.

This position offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and opportunities to learn across bakery, deli, and front-end duties while following our Food Safety program.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times in support of the company mission to Run the Best Store in Town.
• Maintain a positive attitude; create an atmosphere of friendliness and fun through flexibility and teamwork.
• Prepare and produce Quality food & products to meet or exceed our customer & company expectations.
• Bake bread, rolls, pies, and cookies per manual guidelines.
• Keep workstation and area around workstation neat and clean.
• Food Safety program adherence.
• Cross training across multiple areas with varying responsibilities.
