Job summary

Food City is seeking a Food Service Associate to support daily store operations in Elizabethton, Tennessee. You will greet customers, provide friendly service, and help with food preparation and display to meet company standards.

Responsibilities include baking bread and desserts, stocking, rotating products, maintaining clean work areas, and following Food City’s safety guidelines. On-site shifts require reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to follow verbal/written instructions and perform routine tasks.
• Must be able to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure courteous customer service at all times to support the store mission.
• Maintain a positive, friendly atmosphere through teamwork.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Prepare and produce quality food and products to meet expectations.
• Bake bread, rolls, pies, and cookies per guidelines.
• Complete daily production sheets and manage product rotation.
• Put up stock and ensure proper packaging, weights, and ingredients.
• Keep workstation neat and clean and follow food safety program.
• Cross-train in multiple areas with varying responsibilities.
