Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a bakery associate to prepare breads, pastries and desserts, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will measure, mix, shape, bake, decorate items, and ensure products are displayed attractively in well-stocked cases.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with emphasis on friendly, helpful interactions.
• Experience preparing breads, pastries, and desserts following recipes.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain quality and presentation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain a clean workspace and production schedules.
• Familiarity with safe food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with a bakery team to meet daily production needs.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing production needs.
• Experience safely operating mixers, ovens and other bakery equipment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift items.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts per established recipes.
• Measure, mix, shape, and bake products; decorate cakes and desserts where needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area; rotate and label ingredients; stock cases.
• Assist customers with product questions and take special orders to enhance service.
• Work with bakery team to plan daily production and ensure smooth operations.
