Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is looking for a bakery associate to prepare fresh breads, pastries, cakes and desserts using established recipes and methods.

You will measure, mix, shape, bake, and decorate products while maintaining a clean, well‑stocked display case and coordinating with the bakery team on daily production needs. The role involves assisting customers with questions, taking special orders, and delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a fast-paced retail or food environment
• Experience with breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts is preferred
• Able to follow recipes precisely and maintain product quality
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage production schedules
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
• Ability to work independently and with a team to run daily bakery operations
• Comfort working in fast-paced settings with changing production needs
• Capable of safely operating bakery equipment
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift items

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts following established recipes
