Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Baker to produce breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts with attention to quality and presentation. You will assist customers, take special orders, and work with the bakery team to meet daily production needs.

The role requires standing long hours, lifting items, and maintaining clean, safe workstations in a fast-paced environment. You will follow established recipes and production methods, ensure product availability, and support a friendly shopping experience

Qualifications

• Experience baking breads, pastries, and desserts using established recipes and methods.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain quality, presentation and consistency.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing production needs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move items, and operate bakery equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts following established recipes and production methods.
• Decorate items such as cakes and specialty desserts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; rotate and label ingredients.
• Assist customers with product questions and take special orders to ensure a positive experience.
• Collaborate with bakery team to plan daily production needs and ensure on-shelf availability.
