Job summary

Northgate Gonzalez Market is seeking an energetic bakery associate to prepare dough, bake goods, and maintain kitchen efficiency. You will receive and rotate inventory, ensure product quality, and support daily bakery operations in a busy Southern California store.

We value reliability, adherence to safety standards, and teamwork; experience in bakery operations is preferred. The role includes assisting with inventory, stocking, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in full bakery operations and procedures (1 year minimum).
• Ability to calculate percentages and ratios for dough measurements.
• Basic reading/writing in English to understand instructions and records.
• Ability to follow recipes and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough and bake products per recipes.
• Receive, verify, and rotate inventory; monitor dates.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to health regulations.
• Operate ovens, mixers, and bakery equipment.
• Assist in inventory control and ordering of ingredients.
• Greet customers and support bakery team.
