The role requires basic education, 1 year bakery experience, and the ability to read and follow recipes and instructions. Candidates should be able to communicate clearly with teammates and customers in English.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred, but not absolutely required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in full bakery operations and procedures; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Be able to calculate percentages and ratios when measuring ingredients in dough mixtures and recipes.
• Be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers and customers.
• Be able to read, write, and understand the English language effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance and observe dress regulations.
• Assist in receiving and unloading of merchandise and verify deliveries.
• Prepare all dough and scratch baking mixtures according to procedures and recipes.
• Pan up frozen products, load and round bread, mix icing.
• Operate oven and equipment safely; monitor temperatures and durations for baking.
• Assist in ordering and maintaining inventory of ingredients and supplies.
• Record invoices and write-offs per company policies.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and assist in maintaining cleanliness.
