Job summary

Safeway is seeking a Baker to prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using proven recipes and techniques. You will measure, mix, shape, bake, and decorate, while keeping a clean, organized work area and ensuring product quality for customers.

You will interact with customers, handle special orders, and help create a positive shopping experience. This role requires early mornings, weekends, and holidays, with a fast-paced environment and teamwork to keep bakery operations running smoothly.

• Baking & Production Knowledge: experience with breads, pastries, desserts using recipes and methods.

• Plan daily production with bakery team to meet demand.
• Assist customers with questions and special orders; provide friendly service.
