Job summary

85°C Bakery Cafe in Henderson, NV is hiring entry-level Bread Bakers, Cake Decorators, and Separators. Positions are full-time/part-time with weekend availability preferred and hourly pay between $17.00 and $17.25.

You’ll create fresh breads and decorated cakes while upholding food safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and are able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous bakery, cake decorating, food production, restaurant, or kitchen experience preferred.
• Passion for creating high-quality bakery products.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to speak and understand conversational English.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification may be required.
• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week for part time or 32 hours for full time.
• Early morning, weekend, and holiday availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, decorate, assemble, or separate bakery products according to job role, company recipes, specifications, and quality standards.
• Measure, mix, prepare, and finish products while following established production procedures.
• Decorate cakes with precision while maintaining presentation and consistency standards (Cake Decorator).
• Separate, organize, package, and prepare finished bakery products for distribution and sale (Separator).
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, Health Department, and company regulations.
• Properly operate, clean, and maintain bakery equipment.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production schedules and deadlines.
• Assist with inventory rotation and quality control.
• Cross-train and support other bakery or storefront departments as business needs require.
• Work collaboratively with store leadership and fellow associates.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and follow all company policies and procedures.
