85°C Bakery Cafe in Hacienda Heights, CA is hiring entry-level Bread Bakers, Cake Decorators, and Separators. You will produce and prepare high-quality bakery products in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on food safety and consistency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous bakery, cake decorating, food production, restaurant, or kitchen experience preferred.
• Passion for creating high-quality bakery products.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to speak and understand conversational English.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a ServSafe Food Handler Certification (where required).
• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week for part time employees, 32 hours per for full time employees.
• Early morning, weekend, and holiday availability is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce, bake, decorate, assemble, or separate bakery products according to job role and recipes.
• Measure, mix, prepare, and finish products following procedures.
• Decorate cakes with precision while maintaining presentation and consistency.
• Separate, organize, package, and prepare finished bakery products for distribution and sale.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and follow safety regulations.
• Operate, clean, and maintain bakery equipment.
• Meet daily production schedules and deadlines.
• Assist with inventory rotation and quality control.
• Cross-train and support other departments as needed.
• Collaborate with store leadership and associates.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and follow policies.
