85°C Bakery Cafe is hiring for an entry-level bakery position in Blalock/Houston, TX. The role supports producing and preparing a range of bakery items with emphasis on safety, quality, and consistency.

The job requires a high school diploma (ServSafe certification preferred) and availability for early shifts, weekends, and holidays. Expect a fast-paced team setting with opportunities for growth and internal advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous bakery, cake decorating, food production, restaurant, or kitchen experience preferred.
• Passion for creating high-quality bakery products.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to speak and understand conversational English.
• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week for part time employees, 32 hours per week for full time employees.
• Early morning, weekend, and holiday availability is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce, bake, decorate, assemble, or separate bakery products according to recipes and quality standards.
• Measure, mix, prepare, and finish products following procedures.
• Decorate cakes with precision.
• Separate, package, and prepare finished bakery products for distribution and sale.
• Monitor product quality throughout production.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, Health Department, and company regulations.
• Operate, clean, and maintain bakery equipment.
• Work to meet daily production schedules and deadlines.
• Cross-train and support other bakery or storefront departments as needed.
• Collaborate with store leadership and fellow associates.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and follow company policies.
