Job summary

Station Casinos is seeking a Baker’s Helper at our Durango bake shop to support high-volume pastry production. You will follow recipe books, maintain a clean workstation, and help bake cakes, pies, pastries, breads, and tortes for guests.

We value friendly, inclusive team players who can work hands-on in a fast-paced kitchen, adhere to quality standards, and obtain any required work cards.

Qualifications

• Six months of in-house training as a Baker’s Helper or at least one year outside training in related fields.
• Ability to obtain all necessary works cards.
• Working knowledge and basic understanding of all operations in the bakeshop.

Responsibilities

• Following Recipe Book and Guidelines; and using all supplies necessary to provide exceptional guest service.
• Maintaining kitchen and equipment in good working order and ensuring that the work area is clean and hazard-free.
• Working hands-on in any kitchen environment, including those involving a three-meal period and high volume production, and bake all types of cakes, pies, pastries, breads, and tortes for guest services.
