ShopRite is seeking a Baker in Cromwell, CT to assist the Bakery Manager with daily operations, bake, mix dough, ice and package pastries, and maintain a clean, visually appealing department. You will follow recipes and safety protocols while delivering great customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires standing for long shifts, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work different schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to stand/walk for long shifts and lift 25–50 lbs.
• Work in varying temperatures and handle food safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized bakery area and follow QA standards.
• Assist Bakery Manager with daily operations in the Bakery Department.
• Prepare trays, follow recipes, and ensure product quality and presentation.
• Rotate merchandise and ensure accurate signage and pricing.
• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and assist Customers.
