Schlotzsky's in Gilmer, TX is hiring a Baker to bake fresh breads and pizza crusts daily. You will follow recipe standards, maintain equipment, and keep areas clean while upholding safety and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to operate bakery equipment.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high-stress store environments.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize in a bakery setting.

Responsibilities

• Bake batches according to daily PAR/BAKE ORDER sheets.
• Consistently produce high-quality bakery products.
• Be extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items.
• Keep workstation clean at all times.
• Keep freezer products in order and sealed after use.
• Clean all dishes and pans throughout shift (MINIMUM 30 PANS PER DAY).
• Assist managers in determining bread levels and bake sequence.
• Adhere to all safety and health code requirements for the bakery including OSHA and SERVSAFE guidelines.
• Complete all baking assignments in a timely manner.
