Job summary

Festival Foods in Fort Atkinson, WI is hiring a Baker to join our bakery team. This full-time position requires availability at early hours, including weekends, to help produce and package fresh bakery items and meet guest needs.

You will work with the Bakery Department Manager, follow recipes, maintain safety and cleanliness, and support guests with friendly service and quality products.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and able to interact with guests
• Ability to quickly assess and resolve issues in a dynamic and stressful work environment
• Comprehensive understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies
• Knowledge of the retail food business and perishable department operations

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and production lists to ensure high-quality bakery items and monitor dates and freshness
• Adhere to Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices, keeping prep areas clean and organized
• Provide excellent guest service by helping guests find items, handling special orders and answering questions
• Monitor stock levels and assist on the service floor, especially during early mornings and evenings
• Maintain food safety logs and meet quality standards by required times
• Collaborate with Bakery teammates to meet department goals and maintain a positive environment
• Honor commitments with reliable attendance and communicate replacements when needed
• Support the team with other duties as assigned
