Shaw’s and Star Market is seeking a Baker to prepare and decorate a range of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts. You will measure, mix, shape, bake, and decorate, while keeping a clean, organized workstation and ensuring high quality for display in our bakery cases.

You’ll interact with customers, handle special orders, and work with the bakery team to meet daily production needs in a fast-paced environment. Prior baking or food production experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with a focus on friendly, helpful interactions.
• Experience in baking or food production using recipes and measurements.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain quality and presentation.
• Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and keep a clean workspace.
• Familiarity with proper food handling and safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes.
• Measure, mix, shape, bake, and decorate baked goods as directed.
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe work area; rotate and label ingredients.
• Display products in full, well-stocked, visually appealing cases.
• Assist customers with product questions and special orders; provide friendly service.
• Collaborate with bakery team to plan daily production needs and ensure smooth operations.
