Canada's Wonderland in Buena Park, CA is seeking a Baker Assistant to help the bakers with baking, plating and measuring items throughout the bakery. You will support daily production and ensure product freshness in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of bakery experience, can work nights, weekends and holidays, and will be paid $17.25 per hour. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to sanitation standards.

Overview:

$17.25 / hour

As a Baker Assistant, you will assist the Baker's in baking, plating, and measuring different items throughout the bakery.

Ideal experience is at least 1 year working in a bakery setting.

Responsibilities:

• Performs various operations, including rolling, cutting, baking, scaling, weighing, mixing, measuring, and ingredient preparation.


• Stocks and maintains walk-in and reach-in refrigerators, as well as dry storage areas.


• Monitor sanitation, spoilage, and supply waste.

Qualifications:

• Ability to identify various forms of dough and bakery ingredients.


• Ability to adhere to recipes, food preparation instructions, and production guidelines.


• Knowledge of basic bakery and pastry production techniques.


• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.


• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, orprovinciallaw.
