Job summary

Mackenthun's Fine Foods - Waconia is seeking a Baker to join our early morning team. The 4am-12pm shift is available for both Full Time and Part Time positions, baking and presenting a variety of goods while engaging with customers.

You will measure, mix, bake, decorate, monitor inventory, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Prior baking experience is preferred, and strong math and communication skills help deliver Mackenthun’s exceptional experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, baking experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Bake products consistently across shifts and assist with donut frying and cake decorating.
• Assist customers in selecting baked goods and answer questions about products.
• Keep the bakery area clean and sanitary, following food safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory and receiving bakery shipments.
• Follow food safety regulations for proper handling, storage, and sanitation.

Job Summary

Looking for a Baker to join our early morning team in either a Full Time or Part Time position. This position is 4am-12pm shift. The Baker will prepare, bake, and present a variety of baked goods, ensuring they are fresh, high-quality, and attractively displayed. This role blends traditional baking with customer interaction, upholding Mackenthun’s Exceptional Experience.

Key Responsibilities

Baking & Preparation:

• Analyze baking needs and bake products consistently throughout shifts.
• Measure, mix, bake, and package goods; assist with donut frying and cake decorating.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ingredient ordering.

Customer Interaction:

• Assist customers in selecting baked goods and answer product-related questions.
• Offer recommendations and inform customers about specials or new products.

Kitchen & Work Area Maintenance:

• Keep the bakery area clean and sanitary, adhering to food safety standards.
• Clean ovens, equipment, and dispose of waste.

Inventory & Stocking:

• Monitor stock levels and assist with receiving and storing bakery shipments.
• Report shortages or equipment issues.

Health & Safety Compliance:

• Follow food safety regulations for proper handling, storage, and sanitation.
