Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for baking, attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality baked goods. You will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other items, following recipes and ensuring consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare dough, batters, and other ingredients for baking.
Bake a variety of products including bread, cakes, pastries, cookies, pies, and other desserts.
Follow specific recipes and techniques to ensure consistent quality and taste.
Monitor product appearance, flavor, and texture to maintain high standards.
Decorate baked goods according to specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, including all equipment and utensils.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Track inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a team environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role.
Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Strong attention to detail and high-quality standards.
Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good physical stamina, as the role may involve long hours and standing for extended periods.
A passion for baking and creativity in the kitchen.
A food safety certification may be required depending on local regulations
Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written) – required
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Culinary or baking school certification is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Early morning, evening, and weekend hours may be required.
A clean, temperature-controlled environment, but some work in hot ovens and kitchens will be involved.
