Casino - Tuolumne, CA is seeking a food-prep team member to assist the Pastry Chef and Baker I in preparing items according to established recipes and procedures. You will help ensure quality, station readiness, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced casino kitchen.

The role requires ensuring stock readiness, maintaining freshness, and supporting production flow while following company policies and food safety rules. Weekend and holiday availability is expected in this environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must complete Food Handler or ServSafe certification or have proof of current certification.
• Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate proficiently in English.
• Must possess and maintain a valid California driver license and Black Oak Casino driver’s permit.
• Requires knowledge of baking and kitchen operations.
• Must have knowledge of cleaning, set-up and breakdown procedures.

Physical Demands

• Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.

Work Environment

• Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.
• Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
• Must be able to work in extreme cold (below 32F) up to ½ hour at a time and extreme heat (above 100F) up to 4 hours at a time.
• Possible exposure to dust, gas, fumes, steam, or chemicals.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Required to work around moving machinery.
