Job summary

Quailridgecc is seeking a Bagroom Attendant for the seasonal period from October through May in Boynton Beach, FL. You will maintain bag storage, assist members with equipment, and keep the bagroom and adjacent areas clean and organized for daily play.

Responsibilities include bringing carts from storage, loading bags onto carts in tee-time order, cleaning each cart, and closing duties such as sweeping and locking facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Prefer prior experience at a golf club's bag room, cart, or range.
• Some knowledge of golf is welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, quick, efficient service to members and guests.
• Bring carts out of storage and prepare for use.
• Load bags onto carts in tee-time order and clean each cart.
• Keep bag storage and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Close with clean, swept bag rooms and benches; secure carts and buildings.
• Handle heavy lifting of golf bags and range baskets as needed.

The Bagroom Attendant is responsible for maintaining and organizing golf bags, assisting members with their equipment, and keeping the bagroom and surrounding areas clean, organized, and ready for daily play. If you're dependable, friendly, enjoy working outdoors, and take pride in delivering great member service, we'd love to hear from you!

• To provide friendly, quick, efficient service to all members, and to help maintain an organized bag storage and golf cart storage area.
• Bring carts out of storage and ready for use.
• Pull golf bags out of storage and load onto golf carts, in order of tee times.
• Each cart is to be cleaned and washed.
• All clubs and golf bags coming off the course or bag drop are to be cleaned.
• To keep the bag storage area clean (inside and outside) on a daily basis at closing time.
• Sweep floor inside bag rooms.
• Clean and straighten work bench areas before closing.
• Sweep or blow pavement outside bag room, bag drop and walkway coming in, area around ice and water machine.
• Clean each cart storage building on a weekly basis.
• Make sure cart buildings are locked before closing each night. Make sure carts are off course before closing.
• Pick up bags at the bag drop.
• Take bags to the bag drop.
• Heavy lifting required, (golf bags, baskets of range balls with 300 balls to a basket).
• High School Degree, or its equivalent.
• Prefer previous experience at a golf club in the area of bag room, golf cart, or driving range, but not necessary.
• Prefer some golf knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
