Job summary

Jackson’s Food Company is seeking a Bagger Operator to ensure the consistent packaging of high-quality, food-safe products in a fast-paced facility.

You will monitor bagger feed rates, perform quality checks per SQF, train teammates, and maintain an audit-ready area, contributing to yields and efficient production.

Strong attention to detail, ability to read instructions in English, and GMP/SQF experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1-3 years in food manufacturing or machine operation.
• Ability to read and understand English work instructions and safety procedures.
• Experience with GMPs and SQF is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Package high-quality, food-safe products meeting Jackson’s specifications.
• Report production disruptions to the Production Lead promptly.
• Perform internal quality checks per SQF guidelines (seal integrity, date codes, weights).
• Train teammates on equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Notify Supervisor if equipment underperforms or run rates drop.
• Maintain clean, audit-ready work area at all times.
• Follow GMPs and allergen controls and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with fry room and quality teams to ensure smooth product flow.
