Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Bagger Operator to monitor and operate the bagging line, Ishida scale, conveyors, and related equipment. You will perform setup/teardown, adjust seals, monitor film supply, and maintain date-code printing accuracy while recording data in Plant View.

The role requires standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds, with basic computer skills and ability to read and follow procedures. OSHA-compliant housekeeping and safety are expected.

Qualifications

• Six months of continuous employment with a single employer within the last 36 months.
• Must stand, walk, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to record data in the Plant View system via a tablet.
• Basic computer skills and reading comprehension are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the bagger, Ishida scale, conveyors, tape machine, printers and metal detector.
• Perform setup/teardown and shutdown of equipment and ensure line safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain and adjust bag seals, monitor film feed and reserve, replace film rolls as needed.
• Manage coder/printer data for date codes, bag weights and piece counts; perform hourly counts and daily checks.
