Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group in Byhalia, MS is seeking a Cold End Operator-Bagger/Bundler to join our production team. You will conduct foil and bundler roll changes, keep lines stocked, and maintain safe, organized packaging operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with a team to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve packaging processes while following written instructions and safety protocols. This role offers a rotating 2-2-3 shift and opportunities for growth within a global materials company.

Qualifications

• Experience in machine set-up and computer usage.

• Ability to read and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foil roll and bundler roll changes as needed.
• Keep bagger and bundler decks in good condition and stocked.
• Remove excess rolls to maintain a safe area.
• Re-wrap undamaged product and report damaged items.
• Maintain inventory of labels and ensure proper labeling.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot packaging equipment.

We are looking for professionals to join our Byhalia, MS team as a Cold End Operator-Bagger/Bundler.

Packaging Machine Operators are members of the Production line and work as a team to ensure production goals are achieved.

The position is scheduled from 5:00AM-5:00PM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

What you will be doing:

• You will conduct Foil roll and Bundler roll changes as needed.
• Keep bagger and bundler deck in proper condition and ensure baggers are and bundlers are adequately supplied.
• Remove and store excess bag rolls or bundler rolls in order to maintain a safe work area.
• Re-wrap undamaged product and properly report and dispose of damaged/faulty product.
• Maintain proper inventory of labels.
• Locate and correct all improperly labeled product.
• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
