Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group in Byhalia, MS is seeking a Cold End Operator-Bagger/Bundler to join a production team. You will conduct foil roll and bundler roll changes, maintain equipment, and ensure safe operation on a 5:00 AM–5:00 PM 2-2-3 rotating schedule in a modern facility.

  • Experience in machine set-up and computers.
  • Drive, commitment, positive attitude, and high energy.
  • Must know how equipment operates in order to clear equipment safely.
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Good people and communication skills: must be able to communicate well with all departments.
  • Must be a team player.
  • The ability to read and understand written instructions.
  • Hands-on problem solver
  • Must be able to take direction and work at times with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • You will conduct Foil roll and Bundler roll changes as needed.
  • Keep bagger and bundler deck in proper condition and ensure baggers are and bundlers are adequately supplied.
  • Remove and store excess bag rolls or bundler rolls in order to maintain a safe work area.
  • Re-wrap undamaged product and properly report and dispose of damaged/faulty product.
  • Maintain proper inventory of labels.
  • Locate and correct all improperly labeled product.
  • Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot packaging equipment.

Packaging Machine Operators are members of the Production line and work as a team to ensure production goals are achieved. The position is scheduled from 5:00AM-5:00PM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.
