Job summary

Hamilton-Ryker in Ashland, OH is seeking a skilled Bag Machine Operator for the 3rd shift to safely run and monitor bag lines, ensuring quality and productivity targets are met.

You will set up machines and supporting equipment, perform routine maintenance, assist with raw materials, packing finished goods, and labeling. Reading measuring tapes and product specs, plus basic computer skills, are preferred traits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Experience in manufacturing preferred
• Ability to read measuring tapes and product specifications with mechanical aptitude
• Proficient computer skills
• Physical ability to lift and push/pull heavy materials

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain bag lines to safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Set up and operate bag machines and supporting equipment according to product specifications
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Assist with raw material supply, packing finished goods, and loading machines
• Ensure quality standards are upheld and report suspect or defective products
• Assist with printing and supplying correct parts labels
• Make tape splices at the bag machine packing station
