Job summary

Novolex is hiring a Bag Machine Operator for the 3rd shift in Brownsville, TX. You will operate bagging equipment, ensure quality and packaging accuracy, and follow GMPs and safety rules. The role requires 1 year in manufacturing, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and clear communication with teams.

Starting pay is $12.00 per hour. The shift runs from 10:45pm to 7:00am, with opportunities for training and advancement within a safety‑driven environment, and comprehensive benefits provided by

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external customers.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to safety rules and procedures.
• Check bags for quality defects and perform quality checks and paperwork per Quality Policy.
• Follow quality policies and GMPs; comply with safety practices including PPE.
• Safely and efficiently change rolls, thread paper, start/stop machinery and package bags as specified.
• Submit accurate production reports daily and timely; meet safety, quality, and housekeeping goals.
