Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services in Lafayette, IN is hiring for a part-time event security team member. This role offers a high-energy environment on game days and special events with flexible scheduling and weekly pay.

No experience required, and training is provided to help you succeed. As part of the team you will assist with event day prep, control entry flow, verify tickets and wristbands, direct guests, and deliver a friendly, professional experience while following venue rules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older (implied)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
• May require Driver’s Record check
• Professionalism and good independent judgment
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills desirable

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution
• Control entry at venues; verify tickets and wristbands; direct crowd flow
• Understand policies and procedures of venues and events
• Greet guests warmly and thank them as they depart
• Provide directions and recommendations to enhance entertainment experience
• Maintain a friendly, clear speaking voice and professional demeanor
