Prosegur Security is seeking a Badging Coordinator for a premier corporate campus in Santa Clara, CA. The role supports daily access control, issuing and managing badges, processing access requests, and maintaining accurate records with exceptional customer service.

Candidates must possess a valid California Guard Card and have badging/access control experience. The position is full-time with a Mon-Fri 6:00 AM–2:00 PM schedule and $29.50/hour pay, located in Santa Clara, CA.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

Prosegur Security is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Badging Coordinator for a premier corporate campus in Santa Clara, CA. This position is responsible for supporting daily access control and badging operations, including issuing and managing employee and visitor badges, processing access requests, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.

Candidates must possess a valid California Guard Card and have previous badging/access control experience.

Key Responsibilities & Operational Duties

• Badge Management: Create, issue, activate, deactivate, and replace employee, contractor, and visitor badges in accordance with site procedures.


• Access Control: Process access requests and assign appropriate building and facility access based on approved authorization.


• Badging Support: Assist employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors with badge-related questions, access issues, replacements, and troubleshooting.


• Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate electronic records of badges issued, returned, lost, stolen, or deactivated.


• Access Verification: Verify identification, authorization, and required documentation before issuing credentials or granting access.


• System Operations: Utilize site badging and access control systems to update credentials, review badge activity, and process access changes.


• Security Compliance: Follow all client and Prosegur security procedures regarding credentialing, restricted areas, and access permissions.


• Reporting & Escalation: Immediately report suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, lost credentials, or other security concerns to site leadership.


• Customer Service: Maintain a professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor while assisting employees, visitors, vendors, and client representatives.
