Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions in Charlotte, NC seeks a Card Access Specialist to print and manage employee badges on site. You will review requests, verify data, operate badge printing systems, and ensure compliance with photo standards. This 6+ month role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information in a fast-paced environment.

Work is onsite only; no hybrid or remote options. Pay is $36–$37 per hour on W2; C2C not offered.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures consistently.
• Experience with access control, badge management, security operations, or related admin support.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
• Basic proficiency with computers, work queues, spreadsheets, email, and Office tools.
• Strong organizational skills for high-volume, repetitive tasks.
• Effective written and verbal communication, both independently and with teams.

Responsibilities

• Print employee access badges per badge operations procedures and SLAs.
• Review badge requests for completeness and compliance with photo standards.
• Validate badge information including type, template, and profile details.
• Operate badge printers, supplies, and related systems to produce credentials.
• Record badge serial numbers and verify accuracy against system records.
• Prepare badges for pickup, shipping, or distribution.
• Return or reject non-compliant badge requests and communicate corrections.
• Maintain accurate records of badge production activity and inventory.
