Job summary

The Backwaiter at P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is responsible for supporting restaurant operations by delivering food to guests promptly and courteously, assisting with dining room cleanliness, and maintaining service stations.

All team members must provide excellent customer service to ensure exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities include delivering meals, monitoring the expo line, clearing and sanitizing tables, restocking stations, operating equipment and POS, and assisting with

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training is provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking skills for a fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent communication and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and meet all requests.
• Monitor expo line, run trays for dine-in, assist guests.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors per standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment and POS systems.
• Interact courteously with guests and inform managers of concerns.
• Assist with greeting, seating, phones, and packing takeout orders.
