Job summary

The Backwaiter at P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. supports restaurant operations by delivering food to guests promptly and courteously, assists with dining room cleanliness, and maintains service stations.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a Food Handler’s Card where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking and team-oriented work ethic.
• Excellent communication and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests promptly and courteously.
• Assist with dining room cleanliness and service stations.
• Monitor expo line and run trays for dine-in.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors to standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations.
• Operate kitchen equipment and POS systems where required.
• Greet, seat, answer phones, and assist with takeout orders.
