Job summary

Safran Electrical & Power is hiring a Backup & Storage Administrator to design, deploy, and manage enterprise backup and storage across US sites and international environments. You will work with architects to build and test solutions, manage production changes with rollback plans, and ensure rigorous documentation and compliance.

You will drive automation, runbooks, monitoring, and capacity planning, support Run L2/L3 teams, and contribute to cloud-based strategies aligned with CMMC and NIST

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise backup and storage architectures.
• Proven ability to manage complex backup projects and incidents.
• Strong understanding of NetBackup, ONTAP NAS/SAN, and replication.
• Familiarity with cloud backup approaches and automation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical design of backup and storage solutions with architects.
• Build, test, and deploy approved backup and storage deployments across Safran sites.
• Prepare production changes with rollback plans and approvals.
• Deliver backup, storage, and resilience projects across US and international environments.
• Create runbooks, documentation, and knowledge transfer for Run L2/L3 teams.
• Provide expert support during complex incidents and root-cause analysis.
