Job summary

Reliance, Inc. - IT is seeking a Systems Engineer III – Backup to support the Backup and Storage environments. You will troubleshoot medium to high complexity issues, document processes, and participate in upgrades and disaster recovery initiatives.

The role requires deep backup experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional IT teams in a large enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 5+ years exposure to Commvault Cloud and Metallic SaaS backup.
• 3+ years exposure to other enterprise backup solutions (Veritas, Dell, Cohesity, Rubrik, Veeam).
• 7+ years in Storage/Backup roles in large enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and support all aspects of Storage & Backup environments.
• Perform system maintenance and develop/run backup reports.
• Assist with audits and annual reports to auditors.
• Participate in Storage/Backup upgrades and migrations.
• Provide disaster recovery support and cross-team collaboration.
