Job summary

Berklee College of Music is seeking a Production Assistant for the Berklee Presents production team. You will engage in all stages of mounting a live interdisciplinary student concert, from pre-production to post-production, coordinating schedules, backstage management, and casting logistics.

Qualifications

• Current Berklee student or Boston Conservatory student enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate program.
• Summer work eligibility requires pre-registration for fall.
• Must have a valid US SSN and valid visa status where applicable.
• Minimum 2.0 GPA; first-semester students may work.
• Federal Work-Study eligibility may apply.
• Must be located in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support Berklee Presents production team with schedules, set‑ups, charts, and call times to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate with student cast members and team; tailor updates for audiences.
• Maintain cast sheets in Google Drive and track availabilities and absences.
• Help with complex rehearsal scheduling and accommodate conflicts (arrangers/casts).
• Record rehearsal notes and support backstage during rehearsals and performances.
• Oversee studio booking calendars and assist with session coordination and logging.
• Assist with auditions, virtual casting, and live callbacks as needed.
• Draft working concert programs with instrumentations and hometown listings.
• Promote call-to-action campaigns around campus for auditions and student engagement.
• Coordinate audio/video assets in Google Drive and help with music library organization.
• Assist with distributing scores, parts, and ensuring correct versions in use.
• Support with printing and distribution of music library materials.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and collaborative environment for students.
• May require irregular hours leading up to performances.
