Job summary

The Salvation Army Orange County is seeking a Backroom Processor for our Foothill Ranch Store. This role focuses on receiving, labeling, and organizing stock to support daily store operations and the Adult Rehabilitation Program.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be able to read, write, and follow instructions, and communicate effectively with management, coworkers, customers, and donors. A background check will be conducted as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Background check required, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock.
• Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock.
• Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages.

As our enthusiastic and hardworking Backroom Processor, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock.

Qualifications To Be Considered For This Position

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour.

Schedule

• Work schedules are determined by Management and employees must be flexible to always ensure adequate coverage.
• Full-time employees may be scheduled to work any full-time shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
