Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Florence, AL, HomeGoods store is seeking a team member to execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring a fast, friendly customer experience and a clean, organized store.

You will train associates, manage stock flow, and uphold safety and loss-prevention standards while contributing to a positive customer experience. The role offers a flexible schedule including nights/weekends and an hourly pay range of $13.00–$13.50 with benefits.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Able to lift heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Experience in training other Associates.
• At least 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Maintains merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Supports store shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
