Job summary

TJX in Lehi, UT is hiring a Retail Associate to support receiving and merchandising while delivering excellent customer service. You will supervise and train Associates, ensure accurate tagging and stocking, and maintain clean, organized backrooms and sales floors.

The role requires a flexible schedule (nights/weekends), strong communication, and teamwork with store leadership to meet performance goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Ability to lift heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient team processing.
• Engage customers to provide an excellent shopping experience and keep store clean and organized.
• Model exceptional customer service and create positive experiences for internal and external customers.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, coded, and stocked on the sales floor.
• Coordinate with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure smooth flow of goods to sales floor.
• Monitor team productivity and coach as needed; rotate back stock for replenishment.
• Maintain merchandising philosophy, signage standards, and store backroom organization.
• Promote safety, labor law compliance, and participate in shrink reduction efforts.
