TexasBank is seeking a Backoffice Operations Support Specialist to provide cross-functional coverage across Retail Backoffice, Wire, Teller, and other operational areas. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate handles transaction processing, reconciliations, and cash controls while supporting various backoffice functions and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the bank.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in banking operations or related area.
• Understanding of banking operations, transaction processing, reconciliations, and cash controls.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain documentation.
• Willingness to cross-train in multiple areas and transition between responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide cross-functional operational support across Retail Backoffice, Wire, Teller, and other backoffice functions.
• Process and review operational transactions, including exception items, NSF/returned items, ACH, wire transfers, and account maintenance.
• Assist with wire processing, including verification of information and documentation.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations, balance accounts, and related reporting; resolve discrepancies.
• Support teller operations with cash reconciliations, balancing, audits, and controls.
• Maintain records and documentation in compliance with retention, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to inquiries from branches, departments, customers, and service providers.
