Job summary

TexasBank in Brownwood, TX is seeking an experienced Loan Operations Specialist to manage loan maintenance, research, and document processing. The role oversees loan documents from validation to booking and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will work with core system data, generate reports, review loan documentation and disclosures, and coordinate with departments to meet regulatory and policy requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact with multiple departments to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities

• Know consumer and commercial lending operations, procedures, software, and programs.
• Familiarize with Federal Banking Regulations and internal bank policies.
• Learn core system functions, data input and reporting.
• Pull data from the core system to create various reports.
• Review loan documents for consistency with approvals, policies, and regulations.
• Review and balance General Ledger accounts related to loan postings.
• Review maintenance on consumer/commercial loans and validate documentation.
• Review insurance policies/notices for loan accuracy.
• Review Adverse Action notices and withdrawn loan applications for compliance.
• Review HMDA data collection sheets and submit for HMDA reporting.
• File UCCs with the Secretary of State and monitor expirations.
• Review paid-off loans and provide release documents.
• Review data for CRA Community Development and submit to Compliance.
• Review Adjustable-Rate Loan notices and mail updates to borrowers.
• Scan documents to imaging system and track as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
