Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a dependable Backflow Technician to join our Wilmington, MA team. You will test backflow preventers on a variety of systems and work closely with community water systems and private clients to ensure safe drinking water.

The role is full-time with a flexible schedule and travel using the company vehicle. We welcome candidates with a high school diploma and preferably Massachusetts backflow testing knowledge.

Qualifications

• We want candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Plumbing knowledge or experience is a plus but not required.
• License is preferred and must be obtained within one year of start; company pays.
• Ability to comply with state and local regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb a ladder.
• Valid driver27s license.

Responsibilities

• We test backflow preventers on a variety of systems.
• We work with community water systems and private clients to ensure safe drinking water.
• Backflow device testing is performed.
• Interact with water customers daily.
• Full-time, Monday–Friday with variable schedule based on client needs.
• Travel using company vehicle.
