Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Backflow Inspector to inspect and test building backflow devices, record results, and generate reports for customers in Reno, NV. The role works with the Lead Inspector and Inspection Manager to ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of Backflow Inspection Reports and Certificates.

Qualifications include a college degree preferred (HS acceptable with related experience), possession of AWWA-NV Water Use Efficiency Practitioner certification,

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable with related experience.
• AWWA-NV Water Use Efficiency Practitioner certification required upon hire.
• 1–3 years of fire and life safety inspection experience; NFPA standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform backflow inspections and tests on building systems.
• Record results and generate Backflow Inspection Reports and Certificates.
• Assist Lead Inspector/Inspection Manager with data collection and paperwork.
• Ensure inspections are timely and accurate.
