Pacific Backflow seeks a motivated Field Technician Trainee to learn testing, repair, and installation of backflow prevention assemblies across multiple sites in California. This role involves physical work, heavy lifting, and travel, with training under a Senior Field Technician.

The candidate should be willing to obtain Backflow Tester Certification, possess a California driver’s license, and demonstrate mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Backflow tester certification required or pursuing certification.
• Good mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.
• Clear communication with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Test and repair backflow prevention assemblies.
• Assist in installation and replacement of backflow systems.
• Document test results and maintain reports per requirements.
• Travel to multiple job sites and perform tasks safely.
• Coordinate with operations and front office regarding schedules and updates.
