Magnite, the world’s largest independent sell-side advertising platform, is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the DV+ Delivery Engineering team. The role is based in Los Angeles with a hybrid schedule (M/F remote, T/W/TH in-office).

You will work on a globally distributed ad-serving system handling hundreds of millions of requests daily. You will design, develop, and test low-latency core components in C++ or Rust, deliver projects on time, and collaborate across teams to produce reliable,

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong C++ (C++17/20) or Rust for backend systems.
• Strong understanding of memory management, concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with agile development and CI tools like Git and Jira.
• PostgreSQL or relational DB experience with SQL and table design.

Responsabilités

• Participate in backend design, development, testing, release, and maintenance of low-latency core components for the ad platform.
• Deliver projects within deadlines and contribute technical expertise.
• Design and implement reliable, maintainable solutions to challenging problems.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and project plans.
• Write high-performance, production-ready code with comprehensive unit tests.
• Respond to feature requests, bug reports, performance issues, and ad-hoc questions.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver quality software.
• Support operation of services in production.
• Perform design and code reviews.
